Hunter Racing Announces Kawasaki Partnership for 2026–2027

Hunter Racing is proud to announce a multi-year partnership with Kawasaki Team Green, marking one of the biggest milestones in our program’s history. Beginning in 2026, Hunter Racing Kawasaki Team Green will operate as a Kawasaki-supported amateur team — something Kawasaki has not extended to an external program in many years.

This is more than a partnership. It’s the realization of a lifelong dream.

A Personal Dream Turned Reality

“It’s always been a dream of mine to race for Team Green. As a young man I never got the opportunity, despite a LOT of trying. I just never quite had the lap times, I guess. To now have this opportunity as a team owner and also a vet rider is surreal — especially knowing Kawasaki hasn’t done this kind of satellite effort in so long. It means a lot that Ryan and the Team Green program have this type of faith in us.”

From the Team Green newsletter:

“This addition for amateur motocross has allowed us the opportunity to add a talented group of riders to the Kawasaki brand and expand our efforts at key events during the year. It’s been many years since Team Green supported an amateur motocross team outside of our internal program and we look forward to their efforts with a group of riders that all finished within the top 5 at Loretta Lynn’s. The team was created by brothers and long-time racers Chris and Stephen Hunter.”

Five Seasons In and Proven

As we enter our fifth season, we’ve shown that we are here to stay. Our riders consistently perform above those with OEM support, and the team has earned multiple amateur national titles along the way - we’ve earned this. This partnership is recognition of years of work, sacrifice, and belief from our riders and families.

What This Partnership Means

More support

OEM backing will help us provide stronger resources and stability so riders and families can focus on higher quality training and travel opportunities. As well as having the confidence of the legendary Kawasaki brand behind them.

Increased visibility

Aligning with Kawasaki elevates our presence at major events and puts our riders in front of more eyes, opening new doors on and off the track.

A clearer pathway

We want to give riders every opportunity to race for Kawasaki and help put more competitive green bikes on tracks across the country. Our goal is a long-term relationship that supports both current and future athletes.

Looking Ahead

We will proudly represent Kawasaki for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, and we hope this partnership continues well beyond that. Hunter Racing was built to create opportunities for deserving riders — and this partnership is the next step forward in that mission.

Gate drops soon.
