Hunter Racing MX Welcomes William Canaguier to the Team

Hunter Racing MX is thrilled to announce the signing of William Canaguier (#95) for the 2026 season, one of the most promising young talents in amateur motocross racing. With an impressive track record of success at the sport’s highest levels, William brings exceptional talent, determination, and championship pedigree to our program.

A Rising Star with Championship Pedigree

William’s journey to Hunter Racing MX has been marked by consistent improvement and standout performances at the most prestigious events in amateur motocross. His progression through the ranks demonstrates not just raw speed, but the mental fortitude and technical skill required to compete at the highest level. A national champion in his second attempt in 2015, he won the 51cc (4-6) Limited class. He’s never finished outside the top 10 in the 13 attempts since! That’s serious consistency and grit.

Breakthrough Performance at Loretta’s 2025

This past season, William elevated his game to new heights at Loretta Lynn’s, delivering one of the most impressive performances of his career. Competing in two premier classes, he demonstrated the versatility and consistency that define championship-caliber riders.

In the 250 B class, William secured a 4th overall finish, battling through a field of the nation’s top amateur talent. His moto scores of 11th, 5th, and 4th showed steady improvement throughout the week, highlighting his ability to learn, adapt, and execute when it matters most.

Perhaps most impressive was his performance in the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C class, where William captured a 2nd overall podium finish. His moto results of 2nd, 1st, and 3rd demonstrated the speed and consistency needed to compete for championships. That first moto victory at Loretta’s stands as a career-defining moment and a clear indicator of his potential.

William’s signing represents a significant addition to Hunter Racing MX as we continue to build a program focused on developing the next generation of professional motocross talent. His proven ability to perform at Loretta Lynn’s, combined with his work ethic and dedication to improvement, aligns perfectly with our team’s values and goals.
